About HomeCalc
HomeCalc, published at homemetric.fun, is a free collection of calculators for home, renovation, moving and DIY projects. Our goal is simple: give homeowners, renters, buyers and DIYers fast, accurate estimates without sign-ups, logins or paywalls.
Every calculator runs entirely in your browser — your measurements, costs and personal numbers are never uploaded to a server or stored anywhere. You can use any calculator as many times as you like, for free.
Who we're for
HomeCalc is built for anyone planning a home project: painting a room, laying new flooring, pouring a concrete slab, budgeting a renovation, estimating a move, or figuring out what mortgage payment or rent you can afford. We currently serve users in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Australia.
Our approach
We don't invent numbers you should provide yourself — like your electricity rate or mortgage interest rate — because those vary too much by location and provider to guess responsibly. Instead, we ask for the numbers only you know, and handle the math, using standard, well-documented formulas and clearly labeled industry-typical assumptions (like door/window sizing on the paint calculator, or the 28/36 rule on the home affordability calculator).
How the site is run
HomeCalc is an independently operated publisher site, supported by on-site advertising, which helps us keep every calculator free with no account, subscription or paywall. We add new home and DIY calculators regularly — see our Contact page if there's one you'd like us to build.
